Most people have a favorite restaurant to go to. They know the menu by heart and can name their favorites dishes off the top of their head. For some, it is the food that keeps them coming back for more, but there are many reasons why customers may return to a restaurant again and again. The atmosphere, price point, or convenience might be what brings them back in time and time again.

In order to run a successful restaurant you need to keep these 3 rules in mind:
- Know your customer: Figure out who your target audience is and cater to them in every way possible. For example, if you know that most of your customers will be tourists from Japan then offer Japanese menus with photos of the dishes and use chopsticks when serving their food.
- Keep up with trends: Make sure that you stay current with the latest trends in cuisine as well as the newest technologies so that you can provide an experience worth coming back to again and again (and spending money at!).
- Hire people who love your product so they will do everything they can to make sure each customer leaves satisfied (it’s hard enough competing with other restaurants without staff members fighting against you)
